Your new career

You'll be selling our amazing recruitment technology solutions, to your happy customers! Working predominantly by phone, but also face to face, talking with recruitment decision-makers in businesses who generally have at least 400 employees, and advising them on which of our recruitment tech products will be best suited to their needs and how these systems will revolutionise their recruitment outcomes.

You’ll be backed by in-house teams of recruitment specialists who will provide recruitment expertise, implementation support, training and tech support, and who are even available to join your conversations and help you sell. Of course, you're the primary adviser to your customers, responsible for closing sales and developing strong relationships.

You'll find your new role to be extremely enjoyable, varied and interesting. We have a close-knit team of professionals who enjoy each other's company as well as their interaction with clients from a wide variety of sectors and industries. Our open plan, spacious office enjoys full-length views of the Brisbane river and is located only a few minutes from the train, bus or City Cat terminal. We are really focused on the factors that keep our wonderful team happy – fresh fruit and snacks every day, good coffee on tap, Nutribullets with everything you could possibly want to put in them, social events, job security and real earning potential.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer, comprising of a $60K base salary and uncapped commissions, allowing you to earn as much as possible. On-target earnings in the first year are typically between $80K and $100K while you grow your pipeline, and second year on-target earnings sit well above $100K. 

Successful team members will also enjoy further opportunities to advance their career within Scout Talent and/or Employment Office, by becoming Team Leaders or entering business ownership roles.

What we need from you

We'll need you to be articulate and well presented, with the confidence, ability and willingness to instigate contact with senior business people who are involved in the recruitment or recruitment strategy for their organisation – this will be crucial to your success.

You don't need to have qualifications or experience in recruitment or tech to be successful in this role (although it can be an advantage so if you've held a similar role before, we’d love to hear from you!). But experience working in some capacity in a business environment, and the confidence and ability to gain the ear of, and develop a rapport with, senior business people, is crucial. After all – you’ll be speaking with them about a key area of their business's pain. It's easier when you can 'speak their language'!
