The Basics

  • Your new title: Inside Sales Representative 
  • Location: Milton, Brisbane
  • Hours: Full-time (8.00am - 5.00pm)
  • Days: Monday - Friday

What you'll be doing

As our new Inside Sales Rep, you'll spend your days driving sales through the development of existing accounts, nurturing new accounts, and generating a lead pipeline by prospecting key decision makers within relevant organisations. 

More specifically, your time will be spent:

  • Cold calling prospects to gather relevant information to pass to our Business Development Managers;
  • Creating proposals for clients;
  • Liaising with prospects and existing clients via email; and
  • Using our CRMs and maintaining data integrity of the database.

Is this the role for you?

Here's what you'll need to be successful with SCOUT:

  • Telephone sales experience (ideally outbound) - you'll need to be comfortable cold-calling prospects
  • Great interpersonal skills - you'll have the emotional intelligence to read people / situations and react appropriately in order to secure buy-in
  • Exceptional communication skills - you'll be able to effectively articulate and explain thoughts clearly
  • A strong work ethic - we want team members who want to be here, and who perform their role with enthusiasm
  • An appetite for success - you'll be driven to accomplish any goals you set, and will be motivated by a desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Experience with Salesforce (a bonus) - although not essential, this would come in handy

You'll also be trained in our sales process, how to own your client meetings, and how to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find and secure relevant prospects in our target market.

With access to Sales Mentors and opportunities to attend industry events, your sales acumen will be sure to flourish - you'll even have the potential to work within enterprise sales down the track.

Now, let's get to it - the pay! You'll be offered a competitive remuneration package including a base salary, super and uncapped commissions, giving you a first year OTE of $70,000 - $90,000.
