Team Leader of Account Management and Client Success
Brisbane or Melbourne
Our Account Management / Client Success team is growing, creating an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to step up and lead the way.
We're open to appointing someone in either our Melbourne or our Brisbane office. You'll be leading team members in Brisbane, Melbourne and Vancouver.
This is an invaluable hands-on position that ensures our clients are delighted with their investment, and paves the way for continued growth of our agile company.
Your clients will be part of growing organisations of all sizes and industries, located anywhere in Australia and overseas. They’ll have one thing in common: that they want to recruit the best people and they need great software to do it well.
You'll be pivotal in achieving significant revenue growth within our existing customer base.
You'll work with your team of Account Managers to turn clients who are subscribed to just one of our modules, into clients who use two or three of our modules, demonstrating to them the value of Scout Talent's range of products.
You - and your team - will be Product Specialists in 'all things Scout' and will work with our New Business Sales team - when they book in a meeting with a new prospect, you'll join them to show the prospect through our systems and features and help them understand why Scout Talent is a natural choice if they want to attract and recruit the best.
Finally, you and your team will manage implementations and training for new clients.
In all three of the above areas, you'll have the opportunity to share talent attraction ideas and best-practice.
As with all of our Team Leaders, you'll lead by example, spending up to 80% of your time focusing on achieving the above, paving the way, and inspiring your team members through your results - and 20% of your time undertaking team leaderships duties.

One of our newest products is Scout Talent:Engage, a talent pipelining and recruitment marketing tool that shifts clients’ recruitment strategies from reactive to proactive. This product is super-charged by our Employer Branding and Recruitment teams who curate content and manage talent pools.
Scout Talent:Promote is a top-down leadership planning system our clients use to manage succession. It helps clients make objective, data-based decisions to identify management potential within their businesses.

What kind of person loves this role?
- Someone with leadership experience who is excited at the prospect of leading a small, hands-on team and achieving significant revenue growth in the coming year. You need to be able to inspire your people, create a vision that people are bought into, and be willing to roll up your sleeves to show people how it's done. Your team will be spread across three cities so you need to be able to build strong working relationships over phone/video conference.
- Someone with a background in Account Management. You enjoy understanding your clients, looking for ways to add further value, and growing the number of products/modules they use.
- A 'people person'. You'll have great communication skills, a genuine passion for engaging with others, and a motivation to achieve the best results for your clients.
- An ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC person! These attributes mean so much to us at Scout Talent. If you don't love what you're doing, what's the point?
- Ideally, you'll have experience in HR, recruitment and/or software solutions. If you don't have experience in these areas but reckon you're a quick learner, we're still happy to hear from you.
We value ownership and autonomy. We believe the best people should be paid 'above market rates' and reward our team members for extra effort and outcomes. Expectations are high in this role, but so is your earning potential. Your remuneration package will be made up of a retainer plus commissions. On-target earnings in your first year are $85,000 - $100,000 (all inclusive).
